VEGETABLE RICE

This classic recipe is simple, easy and delicious!
Ingredients
Portions: 9
- 4 Cups Cooked Parboiled Rice
- 1 Medium Carrots, Raw
- 1 Can Whole Kernel Corn
- 1 Can Green Pigeon Peas
- 15 Stalks Chive
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 4 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Cubes MAGGI® Vegetable Flavoured Seasoning Cubes

Instructions
- 1.Boil rice in salted water, strain, and put to cool in the refrigerator (could be overnight).
- 2.Dice carrots, mince garlic and chop chives
- 3.In a large pot over medium heat add 4 tbs oil, carrots and garlic.
- 4.Add corn, peas and 2 crushed MAGGI® VEGETABLE CUBES
- 5.Add rice and 2 tbsp of butter
- 6.Stir the ingredients in the pot well and add chives.-
- 7.Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve and enjoy!
