  • 2/3 Cup Split Peas
  • 8 Cups Boiling Water
  • 1 large Onion (chopped)
  • 3 Pieces Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 Stalk Chive (chopped)
  • 1 Stalk Celery (chopped)
  • 3 Tablespoons Pimento/ Seasoning Pepper (finely chopped)
  • 1 Pound Smoked Bones (cleaned)
  • 2 Packs MAGGI® Soup It Up! Vegetable Soup Mix
  • 1 Unit Corn (cut into semi circles)
  • 1 Unit Carrot (sliced into semi circles)
  • 1/2 Cup Pumpkin (diced)
  • 2 Units Potatoes (peeled and cut into quarters)
  • 1 Unit Hot Pepper (whole)

Instructions

  • 1.To a pressure cooker, add split peas, water, onions, garlic, chive, celery, pimento peppers, smoked bones and 1 pack of Maggi Vegetable Soup and cook for 10 minutes or until peas are tender.
  • 2.Add corn and remaining ingredients to the pot. Simmer until corn and vegetables are tender. Add water accordingly if it begins to thicken.
  • 3.Remove hot pepper before serving and enjoy.
