Coconut Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 18 Lg. (approx. 1 Lb.) Shrimp, peeled and cleaned leaving tails on
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Chadon beni / thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 pk MAGGI Season Up Fish
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • ½ cup Water
  • ½ cup Flour
  • 2 med Eggs, beaten with ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder
  • Oil for frying
  • ¼ Sweet Thai chili sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

    1. Season shrimp with fresh chadon beni / thyme, Sesaon Up , lime juice and water. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes

    2. Place flour in a plate, pour beaten egg into a separate bowl and in another bowl mix breadcrumbs with Coconut Milk Powder.

    3. Dredge each shrimp into flour, then dip into egg wash and then coat with breadcrumb mixtur

    4. Fry coated shrimp in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

    5. Serve immediately with sweet Thai chili sauce.
