  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 3 Large Egg
  • 2 Large Egg Yolks
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk (395g)
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Teaspoons Coconut Extract
  • 2 Packs MAGGI® Liquid Coconut Milk
  • 16 Ounces White Bread (preferably a day or two old) cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds

Instructions

  • 1.Set oven to 300°F (149°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan with non-stick spray.
  • 2.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, brown sugar and Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk until the sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, vanilla and coconut extract and MAGGI® Liquid Coconut Milk. Whisk until well combined.
  • 3.Place bread cubes and sliced almonds into a large mixing bowl, pour milk mixture over top, then toss mixture with a rubber spatula to coat. Let rest until milk mixture has been absorbed, tossing occasionally, about 15 – 30 minutes.
  • 4.Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven until the centre is firm, approximately 50 – 60 minutes.
  • 5.Let cool for 10 minutes, cut and serve.
