Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and sugar. Using a pastry blender or fingertips, combine flour mixture with butter until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Toss in raisins. Add egg and NESTLE CARNATION Evaporated Full Cream Milk to form a smooth dough.

Lightly dust a work surface with flour and turn out the dough. Divide it in half. Working with 1 piece at a time, pat the dough into a circle that is about 5 inches in diameter. Cut it into 9 wedges and place it on the baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. sugar over dough.

Bake the biscuits for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. Makes 9 biscuits. Suggested serving size is 1 biscuit.
