Ingredients

- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar additional 1 tbsp for topping
- 5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter softened
- 1 Cup Raisins, Seedless
- 1 Medium Egg beaten
- 2/3 Cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk

Instructions
- 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2.In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and sugar. Using a pastry blender or fingertips, combine flour mixture with butter until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Toss in raisins. Add egg and NESTLE CARNATION Evaporated Full Cream Milk to form a smooth dough.
- 3.Lightly dust a work surface with flour and turn out the dough. Divide it in half. Working with 1 piece at a time, pat the dough into a circle that is about 5 inches in diameter. Cut it into 9 wedges and place it on the baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. sugar over dough.
- 4.Bake the biscuits for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. Makes 9 biscuits. Suggested serving size is 1 biscuit.
