Bacon and Cheddar Biscuits

  • 1 cup CARNATION Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 1 tbsp White vinegar
  • 2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsps Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup Melted unsalted butter
  • 2 cups Grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Crumbled cooked bacon
  • ¼ cup Finely chopped chive
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • 3 tbsps Melted butter
  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped parsley


    1. To make buttermilk:- mix Evaporated Milk and vinegar, set aside

    2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, baking powder, garlic powder and cayenne peppe

    3. Then add buttermilk and ½ cup melted butter to flour mixture and stir gently to form a sticky dough

    4. Fold in the cheese, bacon, chive and sour cream using a spatula to incorporate.

    5. Using an ice cream scoop, drop scoops of the dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

    6. Bake biscuits in a preheated oven at 450°F (230°C) for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

    7. Remove from oven and brush with remaining butter and sprinkle with parsley

    8. Serve ho
