  • 4 Pounds Pork Baby Back Ribs
  • 4 Packets MAGGI® Season-Up All Purpose (10g)
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 1/2 Cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 Cup Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Sauce, Worcestershire
  • 1/2 Cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 Cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Sauce, Hoisin, Ready-To-Serve Ingredient for barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Chilli Powder
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Ground Geera/Cumin
  • 2 Cubes MAGGI® Chicken Tomato Cubes

Instructions

  • 1.Preheat the oven at 350°F (180°C). Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  • 2.Place the ribs on the sheet pan meat-side up and sprinkle them with Season Up All Purpose. Cover with foil and leave to marinate for 30 minutes in refrigerator. Place sheet pan with ribs in the oven and bake for 1 hour.
  • 3.To make the barbeque sauce. Heat oil in a large saucepan over low heat. Add onions and cook for 10 minutes until onions are translucent but not browned. Add garlic and cook for another minute. Add ketchup, tomato paste, vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili powder, cumin and Chicken Cubes.
  • 4.Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • 5.Pour some of the barbecue sauce generously on rack and cover the ribs loosely with foil. Bake for 1hr and 15 minutes or until meat is tender when tested with a fork. As soon as the ribs are out of the oven spread them generously with the remaining barbecue sauce. Broil / grill for 5-8 minutes and serve.
