- 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Unit Onion (diced)
- 3 Tablespoons Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers (minced)
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic (minced)
- 400 Grams Lentil Peas
- 5 Cups Water
- 6 Cubes MAGGI® Onion and Garlic Cubes
- 2 Tablespoons Chive (minced)

Instructions
- 1.In a medium pot, heat oil and butter on medium heat. Sauté onions, pimento peppers and garlic until onions are translucent.
- 2.Add lentil peas, water and Onion and Garlic Cubes.
- 3.Bring water to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.
- 4.Cook until peas are tender. Stirring every 5 minutes to prevent sticking.
- 5.Add chives to the pot, stirring to incorporate. Serve immediately.
