  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Onion (diced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers (finely chopped)
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Cubes MAGGI® Onion and Garlic Cubes
  • 2 Cans Channa/Chickpeas (drained)
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Teaspoons Hot Pepper (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Geera/Cumin
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Instructions

  • 1.In a medium pot sauté onion, garlic and pimento peppers in oil for 1minute.
  • 2.Add Cubes, channa and water to pot, bring to a boil.
  • 3.Add hot pepper, geera/cumin and cardamom.
  • 4.Reduce heat to a slow boil and cook for about 20 minutes or until all liquid has evaporated.
