  • 1 Cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk (warmed)
  • 2 Teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Large Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Margarine (room temperature)
  • 3 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  • 1.In the bowl of mixer add Evaporated Milk, yeast, sugar, 1 egg, ¼ cup margarine and 1 cup flour and mix with the dough hook for 1 minute.
  • 2.Add 2 cups flour and salt and mix until the dough comes away from the sides of the bowl and dough is soft but can be kneaded with floured hands.
  • 3.Add remining flour a little at a time until this consistency is achieved (you may not use all of the flour)
  • 4.Grease a large bowl with oil. Place dough in the bowl, cover with a dish towel and place in a warm area to rise for an hour or until doubled in size.
  • 5.Grease a baking dish with margarine and set aside.
  • 6.When doubled in size, punch down the dough and divide the dough into 16 equal dough balls form into rolls and place into the greased baking dish covered with a dish towel and let rise until doubled in size again.
  • 7.Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
  • 8.Crack the remaining egg and beat it, brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the egg wash.
  • 9.Bake in preheated oven for 20 – 25minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 10.Remove from heat and brush with remaining butter and allow to cool.
  • 11.Serve once cooled with sides of your choice.
