Spanish Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter (or margarine)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers (finely minced)
  • 1/2 Cup Onion (finely minced)
  • 1 3/4 Cup Mixed Vegetables
  • 6 grams MAGGI® Rice it Up Spanish Rice Seasoning
  • 4 Cups Cooked Parboiled Rice (boiled without salt)

Instructions

  • 1.  In a heavy bottomed pot, heat vegetable oil and butter until butter has melted. Add garlic, pimiento/seasoning peppers and onions. Sauté on medium heat until onions are translucent.
  • 2.  Add mixed vegetables and Rice It Up Spanish, stirring to ensure all the ingredients are coated with the seasonings.
  • 3.  Add cooked rice to the pot stirring to ensure that all of the rice has been well coated.
  • 4.  Serve immediately.
