Ingredients

  • 1/2 Can Chickpeas/Channa (drained)
  • 0.5 Pound Minced Chicken Breast
  • 1 large Egg (beaten)
  • 1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Unit Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black-pepper
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Oil
  • 4 Units Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
  • 1 Cup Iceberg Lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 large Tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1/4 Cup Red Cabbage (shredded)
  • 1/4 Cup Cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 Small Carrot (grated)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Juice (or vinegar)
  • 1 Teaspoon Oil
  • 1 Pinch Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • 1.Drain liquid from can. Then, in large bowl, mash beans until smooth. Add chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, ginger, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • 2.Form patties and allow to chill for 5 mins in the refrigerator
  • 3.Heat oil over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5 mins on each side.
  • 4.In a small bowl, combine cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper. Drizzle over cabbage mixture. Toss until everything is well combined.
  • 5.Assemble burger with patty and coleslaw. Serve and enjoy.
