Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Cooked Rice (leftover rice)
  • 1 Small Onion (diced)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley (minced)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon MAGGI® Naturisimo Complete Seasoning
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • 1 1/2 Cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Cups Oil For Frying

Instructions

  • 1.  In a medium bowl, mix the rice, onion, garlic and parsley. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 egg, Complete Seasoning and chili flakes.
  • 2.  Add egg mixture to rice mixture together with mozzarella. Stir to combine.
  • 3.  Using wet hands, form balls with mixture. Chill balls while setting up breading station.

Breading Station

  • 4.  Place the flour in a bowl, whisk the remaining egg in another bowl and place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  • 5.  Dip each ball in the flour, then egg and then breadcrumbs. Chill for 10 minutes.
  • 6.  Fry balls in preheated oil over medium heat until balls are golden brown.
