Cheesy Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup Cornmeal
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, Table
  • 1/4 cup NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk (395g)
  • 1/2 Cup Nestlé Carnation Light Reduced Fat Uht Evaporated Filled Milk 330Ml Carton
  • 1/4 Cup Oil
  • 2 Large Eggs beaten
  • 1 Cup Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 Cup Corn, sweet, white, canned, cream style, no salt added
  • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese shredded

Instructions

  • 1.  Combine dry ingredients and set aside. In another bowl, combine all liquid ingredients.
  • 2.  Using an electric mixer, add dry mixture a little at a time to wet mixture. Mix well. Grease “8 x 8 x 2” baking pan. Line the bottom of pan with greased waxed paper.
  • 3.  Pour mixture into the pan evenly. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Cut into 12 slices.

Other uses of the mixture.

Do not remove waxed paper from corn bread until bread has cooled completely. This mixture may also be used to make muffins, which can be frozen for use later on.
