Ingredients

  • 1 Unit Baguette
  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese (grated)
  • 10 Large Eggs
  • 8 Slices Bacon (cooked and diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 Unit Onion (diced)
  • 1/4 Cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 Cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black-pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon MAGGI® Pepper Sauce Mild
  • 1 Teaspoon MAGGI® Season-Up All Purpose Powdered Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Chive (finely chopped)

Instructions

  • 1.  Preheat oven to 350o F (180°C). Line a half sheet tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  • 2.  On a cutting board cut a long V shaped wedge into the top of the baguette ensuring not to puncture/crack the bottom. Hollow out bread slightly, pressing the insides to create a cavity.
  • 3.  Line the bottom of the baguette with ½ cup of cheddar cheese, place in the oven until melted and set aside to cool.
  • 4.  In a large bowl, combine eggs, bacon, tomatoes, onions, mozzarella cheese, remaining cheddar cheese, Evaporated Milk, black pepper, Pepper Sauce and Season Up All Purpose until well combined
  • 5.  Transfer mixture into a measuring cup to pour egg mixture into the baguette cavity. Top with chive and additional cheese if desired.
  • 6.  Bake for 45 minutes or until filling is cooked through. Slice, and serve hot.
