Fried Chicken
An all time favourite recipe comes to life with the addition of Maggi and Carnation Full Cream Milk.
Ingredients
- 4 Pounds Chicken
whole, cut into 10 pieces
- 1 Cup Onion
Chopped
- 2 Sprigs Thyme
Chopped
- 2 Teaspoons Garlic
Chopped
- 3 Pieces Egg
Beaten
- 4 ounces CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
- 1 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 Cups Oil For Frying
- 20 Grams Maggi Season-Up! Chicken Powdered Seasoning 10G Sachet
Instructions

1. Place onion, thyme, scotch bonnet pepper, garlic and 1/3 cup oil in a blender and process until smooth.

2. Pour blended mixture over the chicken along with 2 tbsp of Maggi Chicken Season Up and leave to marinate for 45 minutes.

6. In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat oil to approximately 375 degrees F.

7. Carefully place coated chicken in heated oil working in two batches. Fry chicken until golden brown and until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
