Ingredients

  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Packet MAGGI® Season-Up Fish (10g)
  • 1/2 Cup Onion (finely diced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers (finely chopped)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Chive/Escallion (finely chopped)
  • 0.5 Pound Saltfish (boiled and deboned)
  • 1 1/2 Cup Water
  • 3 Cups Oil For Frying

Instructions

  • 1.  In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and MAGGI® Season Up Fish.
  • 2.  Add onions, pimento peppers, garlic, chive and saltfish and stir to mix.
  • 3.  Pour water into bowl and mix thoroughly. This should form a thick batter.
  • 4.  Using a teaspoon, drop batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Approximately 3-4 minutes.
  • 5.  Drain on paper towel after frying.
  • 6.  Serve hot with dips of choice and enjoy!
