Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Boneless Chicken Breast (cubed)
  • 4 Teaspoons MAGGI ® Unique Chicken Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Onion (diced)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Cup Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 1/2 Cups CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
  • 2 Teaspoons Parsley (minced)
  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese (grated)
  • 1 Cup Spinach Leaves (optional)
  • 250 Grams Penne Pasta (or pasta of choice) cooked according to package instructions

Instructions

  • 1.  In a bowl, season chicken breast with 2 teaspoons MAGGI® Unique Chicken Seasoning. Set aside.
  • 2.  In a deep sauté pan, add vegetable oil and sear chicken breast chunks until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • 3.  Add butter to the pan and add onion, garlic and mushrooms until mushrooms are cooked through.
  • 4.  Add flour and mix. Cook for 2 minutes. Add CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk and remaining MAGGI® Unique Chicken Seasoning stirring constantly.
  • 5.  Add cooked chicken, oregano, parsley and spinach cook until sauce thickens. Remove from heat add cheese and stir it in until the cheese melts.
  • 6.  Add cooked pasta and serve hot.
