Spicy Carnation Vegetable Penne Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter Room temperature
  • 1/4 Cup Onion Julienned
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic Finely Chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Cups CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons MAGGI® Naturisimo Complete Seasoning
  • 4 Cups Cooked Penne Pasta
  • 2 Cups Mixed Vegetables
  • 1/2 Cup Cheese, Parmesan, Grated
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  • 1.  In a saucepan over medium heat melt butter, sauté onions and garlic with butter for approximately 20 seconds. Stir in flour to make a paste.
  • 2.  Using a whisk carefully incorporate CARNATION EVAPORATED FULL CREAM MILK. When mixture begins to thicken lower heat. Season sauce with MAGGI NATURISIMO.
  • 3.  Add penne pasta and mixed vegetables to sauce cook for five (5) minutes, remove from heat. Toss in parmesan cheese.
  • 4.  Garnish chopped parsley.
