Pineapple Easter Bun

Ingredients

  • 2 Ounces Unsalted Butter melted
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Stout
  • 1/4 Cup ORCHARD® 100% Pineapple Juice 1L Carton
  • 1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mixed Spice for Baking
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 Unit Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Raisins, Seedless
  • 1/4 Cup Currants, Zante, Dried
  • 2 Cups Cherries, Sweet, Raw chopped

Instructions

  • 1.  Combine melted butter, sugar, honey, stout and Orchard Pineapple Juice over low flame.
  • 2.  Sift together flour, baking powder and spices. Add egg, melted mixture and dried fruit. Mix well.
  • 3.  Bake in a 9 in. x 4 in. loaf tin on the centre shelf at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • 4.  Allow to cool completely before removing from pan. Serve with butter or cheese.
