Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 1/4 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Tablespoon NESCAFÉ® Classic Double Filter
  • 4 Units Eggs
  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 ounces NESTLÉ® Toll House(since 1939) Semi-Sweet Morsels (1/2 cup)

Instructions

  • 1.  Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2.  In a large, heavy bottom saucepan, melt butter, then add granulated sugar and continue to cook until sugar dissolves.
  • 3.  Remove from the heat and mix in the salt, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla essence and Coffee thoroughly.
  • 4.  Whisk in the eggs and then the flour until batter is smooth.
  • 5.  Pour the brownie batter into a lightly greased (13 x 9) baking pan.
  • 6.  Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and bake for 18-20 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean when inserted in the centre.
  • 7.  Cool completely before cutting into squares.
