Creamy Chocolate Pie

  • 4 Cups NESQUIK® Chocolate Flavoured Cereal 330g Box For crust, crushed
  • 1/2 Cup Butter For crust, crushed
  • 1 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar For filling
  • 1/4 Cup Cornstarch For filling
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt, Table For filling
  • 3 Cups CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk 330ml Carton For filling
  • 4 Units Egg, Yolk, Raw, Fresh For filling
  • 5 Tablespoons Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened For filling
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence For filling
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter For filling
  • 1 Cup Whipped Cream For filling


    1. For crust:- combine crushed cereal with melted butter and press into the bottom and sides of a pie dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° (180°C) for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely.

    2. For filling:- in a medium heavy bottom saucepan, combine thoroughly the sugar, cornstarch and salt. Then add the Evaporated Milk, egg yolks and cocoa powder and whisk to incorporate.

    3. Constantly stirring over medium heat until the mixture thickens into a pudding consistency.

    4. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla essence and butter.

    5. Pour mixture into the cooled pie crust and place in the refrigerator for a few hours to set.

    6. Top with whipped cream before serving.
