Christmas Rice "Chef Moms" Edition

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Rice (rinsed)
  • 5 Cups Boiling Water
  • 2 Cubes MAGGI® Vegetable Flavoured Seasoning Cubes
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Red Sweet Pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Carrots, Raw (grated)
  • 1/2 Cup Whole Kernel Corn, drained (drained)
  • 1/4 Cup Celery (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger (grated)
  • 1 Packet MAGGI® Flavour D' Pot Chicken (10g) (or Flavour D' Pot Spicy Cock)
  • 1 Tablespoon MAGGI® Season-Up All Purpose
  • 1/2 Cup Apples (diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Seedless Grapes (diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins, Seedless

Instructions

  • 1.  Cook rice with water and Vegetable Cubes until tender but grainy.
  • 2.  In a large pot, heat oil and sauté bell peppers, carrots, corn, celery and ginger for 3-5 minutes. Add Flavour D'Pot stirring to combine.
  • 3.  Add cooked rice and stir to incorporate. Sprinkle additional Season Up All-Purpose, apples, grapes and raisins and stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  • 4.  Serve hot.
