1 Pound Ham, Sliced, Pre-Packaged, Deli Meat (96%Fat Free, Water Added)
Cut into dices
1 Pound Pasta
Cooked
1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks
12 ounces CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
2 Teaspoons Garlic
Finely Chopped
1/4 Cup Onion
Julienned
7.5 Grams All-Purpose Flour
2 1/2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
Room Temperature
1/4 Cup Cheese, Parmesan, Grated
Instructions
1. In a sauté pan melt 1 tbsp. butter sauté ham over medium heat for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat remaining butter, sauté onions and garlic with butter for approximately 20 seconds. Stir in flour to make a paste.
3. Using a whisk carefully incorporate CARNATION EVAPORATED FULL CREAM MILK. When mixture begins to thicken lower heat. Season sauce with MAGGI NATURISIMO.
4. Add cooked penne pasta and pineapples to sauce, remove from heat. Toss in ham and parmesan cheese.
