1 1/4 cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
(warm)
1 Pack Instant Yeast
(11g)
1 Teaspoon Granulated Sugar
2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Garlic
(minced)
1/4 Cup Parsley
(finely chopped)
1/3 Cup Butter
(room temperature)
1/3 Cup Parmesan cheese
(grated)
1/2 Cup Mozzarella cheese
(or cheese of choice, grated)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix the warm Evaporated Milk, yeast and sugar and set aside.
2. After 10 minutes gradually add flour and salt to form a soft dough. Knead into a smooth ball and cover bowl. Leave dough in a warm area to rise for an hour.
3. In another bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the filling and set aside.
4. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle approximately 1 1/2 cm thick.
5. Spread the butter mixture over the dough staying an inch away from edges.
6. Lengthwise, roll dough to form a log. Using a sharp knife cut log lengthwise leaving an inch on one end uncut.
7. Twist the two pieces of the log, keeping the cut side facing upwards to form a braid. Pinch the end of the braid together to seal.
8. Cover braid and allow to rise for 45 minutes.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
