Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Snapper (or any other fish of choice, approx. 6 slices)
  • 2 Packets Maggi® Season-up! Fish Powdered Seasoning (10g)
  • 2 Units Lime
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic (minced)
  • 4 Mediums Tomatoes (diced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers
  • 2 Tablespoons Chive (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Celery (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Chadon Beni (finely minced)
  • 2 Teaspoons Thyme (finely minced)
  • 3 Cubes MAGGI® Chicken Tomato Cubes (dissolved into 2 cups hot water)
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  • 1.  Season fish slices with Season Up and the juice from one lime. Set aside.
  • 2.  Heat oil in a large saucepan. Saute onions, garlic, tomatoes, pimento peppers, chive, celery, chandon beni/cilantro and thyme for 5 minutes.
  • 3.  Add flour and continue to cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 4.  Reduce heat and slowly add bouillon cubes dissolved in water. Stirring continuously to remove any lumps
  • 5.  Cover pot and let sauce simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • 6.  Add fish, juice from remaining lime and black pepper. Cover pot and cook for 10 minutes or until fish is cooked.
