1. In an electric mixer combine the Milk Powder, flour and baking powder. Then add margarine and mix until mixture is crumbly.
2. Add Evaporated Milk and mix well until dough is firm. Then, shape into 1-inch balls.
To make syrup:
3. Combine sugar, water, ginger and cardamom in a medium saucepan
4. Heat and stir until the mixture is boiling and sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat to low to keep syrup warm.
Putting it all together:
5. Heat oil in a saucepan to about 300°F (149˚C) and fry the balls until golden brown. Drain them on paper towels for a few minutes, place in syrup and leave to soak.
