Creamy Herbed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1.5 Pounds Pork Chops (approximately 6)
  • 2 Smalls Onions (sliced)
  • 3 Tablespoons Water
  • 2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 3/4 Cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Sage
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 2 Cubes MAGGI® Onion and Garlic Cubes (crushed)

Instructions

  • 1.  In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat sear pork chops on both sides uniil golden brown.
  • 2.  Reduce heat to low. Add onions and water; cover and cook for 25 minutes or until chops are tender. Remove chops to a serving platter; cover and keep warm.
  • 3.  Gradually stir flour into the pan and slowly add evaporated milk until smooth; add sage and thyme. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until boiling and thickened.
  • 4.  Add MAGGI® Onion Garlic Cubes and stirring to dissolve.
  • 5.  Pour sauce over pork chops and serve hot.
