Chinese Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter (or margarine)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers (minced)
  • 1/2 Cup Onion (minced)
  • 1 Unit Carrot (diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Sweet Pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Green Beans (or bodi, minced)
  • 1 Packet MAGGI® Rice it Up Chinese Fried Rice Seasoning
  • 4 Cups Cooked Parboiled Rice (boiled without salt)
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy sauce

Instructions

  • 1.  In a heavy bottomed pot, heat vegetable oil and butter until butter has melted. Add garlic, pimiento/seasoning peppers and onions. Sauté on medium heat until onions are translucent.
  • 2.  Add carrots, sweet peppers, green beans cook for 2 minutes. Add Rice It Up Fried Rice, stirring to ensure all the vegetables are coated with the seasonings.
  • 3.  Add cooked rice and soy sauce to the pot stirring to ensure that all of the rice has been well coated.
  • 4.  Serve immediately.
