Ingredients

  • 2 Units Eggs
  • 1 Cup NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 Cups CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Almond Essence
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence
  • 10 Slices Whole Wheat Bread cubed
  • 2 Teaspoons Mixed Spice for Baking
  • 1 Cup Raisins

Instructions

  • 1.  Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
  • 2.  In a large bowl whisk together eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and flavourings.
  • 3.  In another bowl, combine bread and all dry ingredients, pour Nestle liquid mixture over bread and allow to sit for 10 minutes to moisten.
  • 4.  Pour into a prepared baking pan and bake for 30 – 35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • 5.  Allow bread pudding to cool for 10 minutes before serving, cut into 14 slices.
