Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Hominy, Canned, Yellow
  • 9 Cups Water
  • 2 Pieces Cinnamon Leaves
  • 2 Cups MAGGI® Liquid Coconut Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons Nutmeg Powder
  • 3 Sticks Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Cup Cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 cup NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk (395g)
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt, Table

Instructions

  • 1.  Place hominy corn in a pressure cooker along with 4 cups of water and cinnamon leaf. Cook corn in pressure cooker for ½ hour or until tender. Once cooked drain excess liquid from corn.
  • 2.  In large sauce pan pour 3 cups water along with MAGGI Liquid Coconut Milk, nutmeg cinnamon sticks and vanilla essence. Bring to a boil.
  • 3.  Combine cornmeal with 2 cups of water. Gradually add cornmeal to water. Stir constantly to avoid lumps from forming. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Add cooked hominy corn and stir in NESTLE GREEN BUTTERFLY Condensed Milk. Cook for 5 minutes, remove from heat and serve hot.
  • 4.  Add salt to taste (optional).
