1 Pound Shark Fillets
(cleaned with MAGGI® Citrus Wash and cut into serving size pieces)
2 Packets MAGGI® Season-Up Fish (10g)
2 Teaspoons Garlic
(minced)
1 Tablespoon MAGGI® Green Seasoning Original
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Large Eggs
(beaten in a medium bowl)
3 Cups Vegetable Oil
(for frying)
3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 Cup Warm Water
3 Cups Vegetable Oil
(for frying)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, season shark with 1 packet of MAGGI® Season Up Fish, garlic and MAGGI® Green Seasoning. Marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes (for best results marinate overnight.
2. In a medium bowl combine 1½ cups of flour and remaining MAGGI® Season Up Fish. Set aside.
3. Coat seasoned shark in the flour mixture, then the beaten egg and finally in the flour mixture again, until all the shark is coated.
4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through. Drain and set aside.
5. In a medium bowl, mix 3 cups flour, baking powder and salt.
6. Add enough water to make a soft dough. Knead for about 10 minutes until dough is smooth and soft. Cover, and leave to rest for ½ hour.
7. Cut dough into eight pieces and form into balls. Roll balls out until about ¼ inch thick.
8. Fry in hot oil, turning once, until golden brown. Drain and set aside.
