Cinna Sugar Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 2/3 Cup Unsalted Butter , plus 1 tsp (divided and softened)
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar divided into 1/4
  • 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar , plus 2 tbsp (divided)
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 2 1/2 Cups Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons NESCAFÉ® Clásico

Instructions

  • 1.  Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 8-inch cake pan.
  • 2.  Beat 1/3 cup butter, ¼ cup brown sugar and ¼ cup granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs and Full Cream Evaporated Milk; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until blended. Gradually beat in self-rising flour just until blended.
  • 3.  Combine remaining ¼ cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, cinnamon, and Nescafé Classic Coffee in a small bowl.
  • 4.  Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over batter. Poke round end of wooden randomly into batter to form streusel ribbons in cake. Ensure the spoon reaches to the bottom of the pan while making swirls.
  • 5.  Bake for 30 – 35 minutes or check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center that comes out clean. Cool slightly and serve warm.
