Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Margarine
  • 1 Pound Dasheen Bush (chiffonade/ sliced thinly)
  • 6 Mediums Okra/Ochro (sliced)
  • 1 large Onion (sliced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Pimento/ Seasoning Peppers (chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup Pumpkin (diced)
  • 1 Sprig Fresh Thyme
  • 4 Cups Hot Water
  • 3 Packs MAGGI® Coconut Milk Powder (25g)
  • 2 Packets Maggi ® Flavour D’ Pot Crab Flavour

Instructions

  • 1.  In a large saucepan, heat margarine until melted and add dasheen bush leaves, ochroes, onion, garlic, pimento/seasoning peppers, chives/escallion, pumpkin and thyme to the pot. Sautee until vegetables and dasheen have softened.
  • 2.  Combine hot water and MAGGI® Coconut Milk Powder and add to the pot.
  • 3.  Add MAGGI® Flavour D' Pot Crab, bring to a boil then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • 4.  Remove from heat and blend to desired consistency. Serve hot.
