Mocha Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces NESTLÉ® Toll House(since 1939) Semi-Sweet Morsels 1.5 cups
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Units Eggs
  • 1 1/8 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon NESCAFÉ® Classic
  • 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Dark Chocolate (chunks)

Instructions

  • 1.  Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • 2.  In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate with the butter. Stir constantly until melted. Set aside to cool.
  • 3.  With a stand/hand mixer, beat eggs, granulated sugar and NESCAFÉ® Classic Coffee on high speed for 3 minutes until thick.
  • 4.  Slowly, add the cooled melted chocolate mixture to egg mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • 5.  Sift flour, baking powder and salt into batter. Fold dark chocolate chunks into batter, stirring to incorporate.
  • 6.  Scoop 1-ounce portions onto the cookie sheet, spaced 2 inches apart and bake for 12-14 minutes. Cookies are ready when the tops are cracked and the edges are set.
  • 7.  Remove from the oven and cool on the rack for 2 minutes before removing to cool completely.
  • 8.  Repeat until all the batter is finished.
