Soursop Baked Custard

Ingredients

  • 2 cups CARNATION Low Fat Evaporated Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • ½ cup NESTLE Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla essence
  • 1 cup Soursop pulp, pureed

Instructions

    1. In medium saucepan, scald milk and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

    2. Using an electric blender, blend remaining ingredients.

    3. Slowly add scalded milk to egg mixture, whisking to incorporate.

    4. Strain mixture and pour into a baking dish.

    5. Place baking dish in a larger baking sheet or pan and fill with water until about 1 ½ “ in depth around pyres dish (Bain Marie).

    6. Bake for 60 minutes at 325ºF (185°C) or until knife comes out clean when tested.
