For Filling:
In a medium pot, mix sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks and Luv Punch. -
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil and thicken

Remove from heat and stir in butter and lemon juice. Pour immediately into baked pie shell.

For Meringue:
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. -
Add sugar one tablespoon at a time, continue beating until stiff and glossy.

Add vanilla essence. Do not over beat.

Heap meringue onto pie filling, carefully sealing meringue to the edges of the crust. This will prevent it from shrinking.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for approx. 10 minutes or until golden brown.
