  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Leavening Agents, Baking Powder, Double-Acting, Straight Phosphate
  • 1 Pack Maggi Season-Up! Powdered Seasoning Fish 10G Sachet
  • 1/2 Cup Onion Finely diced
  • 3 Units Pimento Finely chopped
  • 3 Units Seasoning Peppers Finely chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Escallion Finely chopped
  • 8 Ounces Saltfish Boiled and flaked
  • 1 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Oil For deep frying


    1. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and MAGGI®.

    2. Add onions, pimento/seasoning peppers, garlic, chive/escallion and salt fish and stir to mix

    3. Pour water into bowl and mix thoroughly. This should form a thick batter.

    4. Using a teaspoon, drop batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown.

      Approximately 3-4 minutes.

    5. Drain on paper towel after frying.
