Pickled Breadfruit

  • 1 Unit Breadfruit (Peel, core and slice breadfruit into 1 inch slices)
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Unit Onion (cut into rings)
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
  • 3 Cubes Maggi Garlic Onion Flavoured Seasoning Cubes 4G (Box Of 25)
  • 1 Unit Scotch Bonnet (cut into rings)


  1. In a medium saucepan boil breadfruit slices until firm, drain and set aside.

  2. In a small saucepan bring water to a boil and add onion, vinegar, MAGGI Seasoning Cubes and hot pepper (to make a pickle).

  3. Place breadfruit on a platter, drizzle pickle over breadfruit with onion and pepper. Serve as desired.
