Ingredients

  • 2 Ripe Plantains mostly black
  • 1 Cup ORCHARD Orange Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 Cups CARNATION Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 1 Cup NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 Eggs lightly beaten

Instructions

    1. In a baking dish place plantain, orange juice and cinnamonbake for 30 minutes in a preheated ovenat 375°F.

    2. n a large saucepan,heat Evaporated Milk, Sweetened Condensed Milk and stir until incorporated. Whisk a small amount of the hot milk mixture into the eggsto temper. Add eggs to the pan slowly, whisking constantly. Continue to cook over low heat, stirring constantlyuntil mixture thicken or it coats the back of a metal spoon.

    3. When plantain is baked, place in a food processor and process until smooth.

    4. Add the plantain to the custard mixture and place the pan in a bowl of ice water to cool.

    5. Place in an ice cream maker and follow manufacture instruction.

    6. Serve right away or place in freezer until ready to serve
