Mocca Pudding Cakes

  • 6 ozs. Semi-sweet chocolate
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 3 Whole eggs
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup Powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup All purpose flour
  • A pinch Salt
  • ¼ cup NESQUICK Chocolate Powder


  1. In a small heavy saucepan, melt semi-sweet chocolate and butter over a low heat until chocolate has melted and is smooth.

  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, egg yolks and powdered sugar using an electric mixer for approx. 5 minutes.

  4. Add flour, Nescafé and salt, mix.

  5. Then add melted chocolate beat until incorporated.

  6. Pour batter into buttered ramekins and place on a baking sheet.

  7. Place ramekins in a preheated oven at 375°F and bake for 10 minutes or until the edges of the cakes are set but when tester is inserted into the center of the cakes comes out with wet batter on it.

  8. Remove from the oven and loosen sides with a small knife.

  9. Invert a serving plate onto each ramekin and flip ramekin over so that the cake settles onto the plate.

  10. Sprinkle with Nesquik powder before serving warm pudding cake.
