Milo Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsps. Baking powder
  • ½ tsp. Baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 cup Ripe bananas (well mashed)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup Margarine, melted
  • 1 cup Carnation Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup Milo powder

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°). Spray bottom of 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

    2. Combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.

    3. Combine bananas, sugar, margarine, Evaporated Milk, eggs and vanilla essence in a bowl, stir well. Add to flour mixture and combined until just moistened.

    4. Remove 11/2 cups of batter and place into a separate bowl along with milo powder, stir until well combined

    5. Spoon Milo mixture into prepared pan, top with remaining banana batter.

    6. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely
