Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1/4 Cup Onion chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 12 ounces CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
  • 5 Ounces Callaloo finely shredded
  • 1 Teaspoon Scotch Bonnet finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 Packet MAGGI® Season-Up All Purpose

Instructions

  • 1.  In a sauce pan over medium heat, add butter and sauté onion until translucent.
  • 2.  Add flour to make a paste, cook for 2 minutes.
  • 3.  Whisk in milk gradually, continue whisking until mixture begins to thicken.
  • 4.  Stir in shredded callaloo and scotch bonnet pepper allow to cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 5.  Add cheddar cheese and season sauce with MAGGI All Purpose Seasoning. Once cheese melts, remove from heat and serve.
