Curried Chicken

  • 4 Pounds Chicken Breast Fillet (cleaned, rinsed and drained in vinegar and water)
  • 4 Packs Maggi Season-Up! Chicken Powdered Seasoning 10G Sachet
  • 3 Tablespoons MAGGI Curry Powder 92g Sachet
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger (chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Onion (chopped)
  • 1/8 Tablespoon Pimento Berries
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Scotch Bonnet (finely diced)
  • 1 Cup Potatoes (cubed)
  • 1 Cup Carrot (cut into rings)
  • 1/4 Cup Maggi Coconut Milk Powder Mix 50G Pouch (dissolved in 1/4 cup water)
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Escallion (chopped)


  1. Clean and rinse chicken with vinegar and water, cut chicken into small serving pieces; season chicken with Maggi Season-Up Chicken, 1 tbsp of Maggi Curry Powder, garlic and ginger. Leave to marinate for one hour.

  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add the remainder of the curry to oil and saute for one minute. Add seasoned chicken, onion, pimento and scotch bonnet pepper and vegetables, stir for two minutes, add Maggi Liquid Coconut Milk. Add water and escallion, stir; cover pot and allow to cook until chicken is tender and vegetables are soft. Served with steamed rice or boiled green bananas.
