In a large bowl, mix the warm Evaporated Milk, yeast and sugar and set aside.

After 10 minutes gradually add flour and salt to form a soft dough. Knead into a smooth ball and cover bowl. Leave dough in a warm area to rise for an hour.

In another bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the filling and set aside.

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle approximately 1 1/2 cm thick.

Spread the butter mixture over the dough staying an inch away from edges.

Lengthwise, roll dough to form a log. Using a sharp knife cut log lengthwise leaving an inch on one end uncut.

Twist the two pieces of the log, keeping the cut side facing upwards to form a braid. Pinch the end of the braid together to seal.

Cover braid and allow to rise for 45 minutes

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
