Banana Bread

  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Cake Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 3 Units Ripe Banana (crushed)
  • 2 Units Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk 330ml Carton
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Mix Spice for Baking
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Almond Essence
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Essence


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine both flour, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together butter and brown sugar. Stir in CARNATION Evaporated Milk, whisk eggs, mashed bananas and spices until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten (careful not to over mix). pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.

  3. Remove from oven and serve as desired.
