Ingredients

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Flakes , 6-inch wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Ketchup
  • 2 Packs Maggi Season-Up! Ginger Powdered Seasoning 10G Sachet
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic , minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Ginger ,Grated
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Tamarind Sauce
  • 3 Pounds Pork Shoulder ,Boneless,Sliced 1/4 inch thick and cut into 4 inch strips

Preparation

  • Season pork with Season Up Ginger. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a food processor, blend the honey, ketchup, soy sauce, ginger, tamarind, garlic and pepper flakes / chili paste until smooth.
  • Skewer the pork and brush lightly with the sauce.
  • Grill or broil the skewers over moderately high heat, turning and basting with sauce, until the pork is lightly charred and just cooked through, about 6 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favourite side dish.
